Our Story

Savitri Jewelers started in 1988 in the small German university town several years after my parents immigrated there from India. They began selling antique silver jewelry in craft fairs and over the years they slowly shifted to fine 18-karat gold vintage pieces featuring gems like rubies, sapphires, and diamonds. By the late 90s, they began selling in fairs in the U.S., including the JA Show in New York City, the JCK Show in Las Vegas, and the Miami Beach Antique Show.
The business started with my parents and is now carried on by me, Aamzy (Amya) Bhalla. and based in Brooklyn, New York City. I have a Graduate Gemology degree from the internationally trusted Gemological Institute of America (New York Campus) and years of experience selling vintage jewelry. I also craft my own handmade jewelry, under the name im frantic hbu.
